This is the 2003 Dodge Durango owned and operated by Mary Denise Lands. According to Chief Mike Olson of the Marshall Police Department this vehicle has been retained as evidence. For over two and one half years it has been up on jacks in the open lot of Bud's Towing in Marshall, Michigan. The location of the four (4) wheels are unknown. The vehicle is unsecured and numerous people have been in and out of it. There is no way that this vehicle could ever be considered "evidence" and used in a court of law. For nearly three winters now it has been exposed to the elements. The family has tried to have the vehicle released however the Chief has refused their request. How can he possibly justify a statement that this is evidence? Maybe the Marshall Police can say so, but no other credible law enforcement agency would have conducted itself in this improper manner.
